This vintage Armenian commemorative Flag was made for the occasion of Karekin II's June 1983 visit to the United States.
Karekin II was the Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia from 1983 to 1994. He was later elected as Catholicos of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the name Karekin I.
